Bespoke Modern- Industrial furniture handmade in the UK by local craftsmen
Ragnarok Designs is a small family run business based in West Norfolk, making industrial style furniture for the home, office, cafes and restaurants. We aim to provide a wide range of furniture to cater for a wide range of tastes and decors. All of our items are designed and made by us so you get the full bespoke, handmade experience.
Our furniture has a natural, Modern-Industrial look thanks to its unique character wood and wire-brushed steel giving a slightly distressed finish. For a less Industrial look we offer the leg designs in black creating a more minimalistic, contemporary feel. Each piece is made from solid wood and British Steel finished to enhance all of the natural individuality of the wood and any unique irregularities giving a tactile and authentic finish.
We aim to make furniture to last with our high quality control and manufacturing procedures and operate on a policy to limit the wastage in our workshop and to support local businesses where possible. We use local independent suppliers with a 50 mile radius, British steel and certified sustainable Grade A wood. In order to limit the amount of wood and steel entering the waste stream we use as much of our offcuts of steel and wood and repurpose them to make smaller items. In such a busy workshop we pride ourself on how little material we put in the bin or send for recycling.
Quality and attention to detail is paramount to us, every piece of furniture is assembled and checked before dismantling for delivery/transportation. We sand and finish the unseen parts including the bottoms of tables and give them as much love as the tops. We are a small team so you can be assured your item will get that personal touch it deserves.
With over 18 years previous experience in the fabrication and engineering sector combined with many years of experience in wood working, we can tweak and alter dimensions to suit your own individual requirements. We are also happy to accept personal designs and commissions. Simply send us an image or drawing along with dimensions for a quotation.
